Four decades of building trust, one batch at a time
Sungmoo Pharmaceutical Manufacturing was founded in 1978 with a single conviction held by our founding chairman: that a medicine is a promise, and a promise must never be broken.
What began as a modest manufacturing operation in Seoul has grown into a vertically integrated pharmaceutical company. Today we research, manufacture and distribute biologics, prescription medicines and consumer health products — yet the founding promise has not changed. Every product that leaves our facilities carries the same standard of care we would demand for our own families.
Under the leadership of Chairman & CEO Mr. Sungmoo Gil, the company has expanded into international markets while deepening its scientific capability, investing in biologics platforms and a modern R&D centre at the heart of Seoul.
